ELECTRIC CYLINDERS

Electric Cylinders (or electro-mechanical cylinders) are captive linear actuators designed as a modular system, providing internal guiding and anti-rotation features ideal for z-axis and z-theta dual-axis designs. Helix Liner Technologies’ electric cylinders feature a tubular structure, which shields the leadscrew or ball screw from dust, dirt, and other environmental factors, allowing it to operate in harsh conditions. Standard electric cylinder sizes accept NEMA 17 and 23 motors in single or double stack lengths. Additional features include encoders, positioning sensors, limit sensors, end of travel sensors, and linear potentiometers. Smart motors and servo motors can be combined with the electric cylinder for programmable, sophisticated motion control options.
