Injection Molding Process Technician

We are a manufacturer of linear motion components located in Beachwood, Ohio and we are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to join our growing team.

The Injection Molding Process Technician will execute set up and start of injection molds, cycle time, and auxiliary equipment. Will monitor and control molding production and ensure that equipment and molds are operating correctly.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Scientific Molding or Injection Molding course work.
  • 2+ years of performing similar molding responsibilities: set up mold, cycle time, programming - with automotive molding experience preferred - but not required
  • Knowledge of process troubleshooting using scientific molding methods
  • Knowledge of auxiliary equipment - hydraulics, mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots.
  • Mold set up and use of standard tools and methods.
  • Hot Runner / Valve gate systems.
  • Knowledge of ERP system within the molding function is preferred
  • Keep work area clean and organized on a daily basis.
  • Interface with Quality Engineering & Production Manager.
  • Maintain all ISO requirements.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge.
