Inside Sales Support

The Customer Service Sales Associate role is responsible for providing pricing and availability information, generating quotes and proposals, order entry, contract reviews, and follow-up on customer orders.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Respond to general customer service inquiries (internal/external).
  • Quote/proposal generation - Provide price and delivery information.
  • Answer telephone as needed and route calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Enter orders using Epicor ERP system and SalesForce.com software platform.
  • Contract review, including verifying terms on customer purchase orders.
  • Confirming lead times with manufacturing.
  • Follow-up on customer orders.
  • Address customers' needs utilizing internal resources such as Engineering, Accounting, Manufacturing, Shipping, etc.
  • Provide ongoing customer support. Develop and maintain professional customer relationships.
  • Scan and file digital documents.
  • Develop and maintain professional customer relationships.

Education: Associates Degree

Experience: Minimum three years in a customer service-related field.

Specific Skills: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Detail-orientated and strong ability to multitask. Project Management. Passion for customer service.

Specialized Knowledge: Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, E-mail and web browsing. Problem solver, understand production and purchasing terminology, able to diffuse volatile customer situations, customer-focused, manufacturing background.
